It doesn't matter if you are an Apple or Android lover. These apps are available for you!
These are just a few of my favorite workout apps that have helped me reach my goals in my fitness journey. These apps are available for both android and IOS.
· Nike Training Club
Within this app, there are more than 190 workouts. These workouts will help you target all muscles as their activities range from strength, endurance, yoga, and mobility. There are so many workout options that you will never get bored, and you are bound to find one you love! The app will also help you create plans to set your goals, the equipment you want to use, and how often you want to work out per week.
· Nike Run Club
This app is for runners. You can register your workouts on the app and track your progress. You can be a part of the app community, which allows you to compare your progress with other members of the community. This app is perfect for competitors for that extra little push of motivation!
· My Fitness Pal
This app is a calorie counter where you can keep track of all of your eating. More than 6 million different foods are on this app, and if they, for some reason, do not have the food, you can create it and enter everything manually. They even have Panera mac and cheese on the app! My favorite. This app is perfect if you are trying a new healthy lifestyle or want to get into dieting!
· Daily Yoga
This is one of the best yoga apps I have used. It was also nominated the best in 2018, according to Healthline. This app has more than 50 yoga courses and more than 400 yoga positions. You can choose from different classes along with varying durations of time; if you only want 5mins of yoga, there is an option!
If you wish to 45mins, that is also an option. Another reason I love this app is that it allows you to choose your level of strength between low, medium, and high!
· Calm
I use this app to relieve my stress; this app is perfect for someone who has anxiety as well. This app allows you to improve your sleep quality along with focus. It includes guided meditations, bedtime stories, breathing programs, and relaxing music. Mental health specialists also recommended this app.
· Jefit
This app allows you to track your workouts, and the cool part about it is it comes with excises and plans to which you can add others; it's like having a built-in workout buddy! This app will help you keep routines and track your progress over time. You can record your weight and body measurements as well.
Another cool feature this app has is that it is like a community, so you can share workout plans with others and use the ones they share with you! Handy app!
I hope sharing these gave you the motivation to want to hit the gym and try them out. No matter what you like to do, whether it's yoga, cardio, or strength training. Enjoy and happy workout.
